When filmmaker Daniel Ollman approached us with interest in making a documentary about anaplastology, we were not sure how to respond. Anaplastology is really not about the person designing and fabricating life-like prostheses. Anaplastology is about each individual patient and how wearing a prosthesis becomes part of their life story. We thought about who might like to share their experience, and immediately thought of Victor.
Victor has been a patient of ours since childhood. He recently allowed us to create a series of short videos that tell his story. Put on the popcorn and enjoy!
